Privacy Policy
The short version: we use your information only to talk with you about your property. We never sell it. We never share your phone number with anyone for their marketing. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Who we are
This website, calinewhomes.com, is operated by DB1 Investment LLC (“we”, “us”), 3277 S White Rd No 402, San Jose, CA 95148. We buy houses for our own portfolio. Questions about this policy: hello@calinewhomes.com or (408) 448-7777.
What we collect
Information you give us
- The property address and your answers about the property (your role, its condition, who lives there, your timeline and your reason for selling).
- Your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- Anything you choose to write in the notes box, or tell us by phone, text or email.
Information collected automatically when you use the form
- Your IP address and the approximate location it indicates (country, region, city), your browser type, time zone and language settings, the page that referred you, and how long the form took to complete. We use this to keep out spam and automated abuse.
- A security check by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates signals from your browser to tell people from bots.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If sending the form fails, your browser keeps a copy for at most 24 hours so it can be resent the next time you visit, and then deletes it.
Information from other sources
We also use public property records and commercial property-data providers to identify houses we may want to buy and their owners. If we contacted you first, that is likely where your information came from.
How we use it
- To evaluate your property and prepare a written offer.
- To contact you about your property by phone, text or email, as you agreed.
- To keep records of our conversations and any transaction.
- To protect our website and forms from fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Mobile information and text-messaging consent are not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
We share information only with:
- Service providers that run our systems on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), our database (Supabase), workflow automation (n8n), and our email and phone providers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
- Facebook and Messenger. If you message us on Facebook Messenger, your messages pass through that platform and Meta’s own privacy policy applies to them.
- Parties to a transaction you choose to enter, such as the escrow company, title company, notary and inspectors.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Do not contact me
If you do not want to hear from us, tell us any way you like: reply STOP to any text, say so on a call, email hello@calinewhomes.com, or call (408) 448-7777. We add your number to our internal do-not-call list promptly and within the time the law allows, and we keep it there. We scrub our calling lists against the National Do Not Call Registry. A written copy of our do-not-call policy is available on request.
Your choices and California rights
You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. Email or call us and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep records the law requires us to keep. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Under California Civil Code §1798.83 you may ask whether we shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. We do not.
Do Not Track
We do not track visitors across other websites, so we treat all visitors the same whether or not a Do Not Track signal is sent. We do not allow third parties to collect information about your online activity across websites through our site.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep lead information while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable time afterwards, and transaction records as long as the law requires. Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to our database is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care and will notify you if the law requires it.
Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the home page.
